Early morning, we arrive at Pearson Airport ready to begin our adventures. Bright eyed and bushy tailed we follow the common practice of hurry up and wait. To make a short story of a long boring day we give you the following:
-Grab coffee and say our bittersweet goodbyes
-Off to the “U.S.” and check our bags
-Through customs we go and order one last meal
(Obviously we ordered Poutine, Onion Rings, Whiskey and a Cesar)
-Good news! …the plane is broken
-Good news! …the plane is fixed
(Obviously that means we need to run to another gate)
-Good news! …bad weather in Atlanta (layover)
-Delta finally admits defeat and cancels the flight all together
-Good News! …it’s a night at the Sheraton on Delta!
8 hours of “travel” and we haven’t left the airport yet. So, we rest our weary heads and get ready to try again the next day.
